Spring is finally here! After a cold winter we can finally thaw ourselves out and enjoy the sunshine.
With the warmer weather comes some exciting events happening in and around Perth.
Here is our top 3:
1. Spring in the City (now until end of October)
Perth City will come to life with a variety of events, activities and offers. Check out the Giant Kaleidoscope at Elizabeth Quay and the dazzling Spring Pinwheels in Cathedral Square. In Perth City there is a gorgeous Spring Floral Canopy, which is perfect for capturing some snaps for Instagram.
2. IGA Perth Royal Show (23 - 30 September)
A fun day for the whole family: rides, food, variety of entertainment and of course the nightly fireworks. Getting to the Royal Show from Mountway is easy, simply catch the Fremantle line train from Perth train station and disembark at Showgrounds station. 3. Perth Hills Spring Festival (1 - 30 October)
The Perth Hills are alive in spring, with fun events happening every weekend in Kalamunda. From markets, wineries, cafes and boutiques and the October Feast, there will be something for everyone. Kalamunda is a bit of a hike from Mountway, but makes for a perfect day trip if you have a car.
