Perth Food and Wine expo

What a busy month September has been! Most rooms were booked out over the month of September and the last few weeks has been jam-packed with events such as football games in Subiaco, the Kings Park festival and the Perth Royal Show.

We are now officially in October and are just two months shy of Christmas. But before we can even think about Christmas, we have been enjoying some warmer weather here in Perth.

To get us in the mood for summer and hopefully holidays, Perth has quite a few food-related events coming up, with one being the Perth Food and Wine Expo which will kick off this weekend during 9-11 October.

This year the Perth Food and Wine expo will feature cooking demonstrations by celebrities from the popular TV shows Masterchef Australia and My Kitchen Rules, free tastings from over 150 gourmet exhibitors and numerous classes which teach you how to make cocktails or cheese, the expo promises a fun day for ‘foodies’, or simply those who love food.

Held at the Perth Convention Centre, the expo is only a 9-minute walk over the bridge from Mountway Holiday Apartments. So if you are staying in Perth this weekend, love food and are looking for something to do, the expo will surely have something to offer you.

Tickets can be bought online on the Perth Food and Wine Expo website, with one-day passes starting from $25, or three-day unlimited passes for $60, with additional tickets being available for purchase to attend any of the classes or the opportunity to dine with the celebrities.
