During these busy times, it is important to get away and have a nice meal with family and friends. At Mountway, we love nothing more than good food and wine, and are happy to recommend our 'food finds' to our guests. From little supermarkets in the city offering gourmet produce, to a quaint Italian restaurant tucked away in the suburbs, we believe a happy stomach is a full one!
This week, we enjoyed what we believe is the 'best duck in Perth'. If succulent, mouth-watering duck with crispy skin tempts your tastebuds, then we definitely recommend paying a visit to the Good Fortune Duck House on William Street in Northbridge.
The restaurant has a large viewing window at the front where you can see the chef preparing the meats for the evening. Hanging in the window are golden roasted ducks, thick slabs of roasted pork and other delights such as octopus and crispy wings. The restaurant is small, busy and buzzing with staff and customers and is reminiscent of eating in busy food halls in Singapore or Kuala Lumpar. To top it off, the food is reasonably priced and the restaurant is BYO! Which is always a good incentive to visit.
