Twilight Hawkers Market

Summer is just around the corner and as mentioned in our last blog post on the Perth Cultural Centre, Perth will be host to many exciting summer events.

One of those exciting events is the Twilight Hawkers Market, which transforms Forrest Place into a night market, with tents offering freshly cooked food from all around the world. The market has everything from authentic Malay satay, big simmering pots of Spanish Paella and sweet, tasty desserts such as macaroons and ice cream.

Being located in Forrest place, the Twilight Market is the perfect place to grab a quick and affordable meal while you are doing some late-night shopping in the city, or before heading to a show or sporting event at Perth Arena. While the market is loud and crowded, the atmosphere is bustling and exciting. Combined with the hot balmy nights of summer in Perth, the market is reminiscent of exotic night markets you might visit while on holiday in overseas.

The Twilight Market launched on Friday 16 October and will be held every Friday night for the summer season; from October to April 2016.

Forrest Place is only a 17-minute walk from Mountway Holiday Apartments, or can easily be accessed by catching the CAT Bus within the Perth CBD.
